Goldminer Oceana Gold is seeking accommodation for more than 150 people in the small west coast town of Reefton, population about 900.
The company's Reefton gold project is gearing up, with the re-opening of the Blackwater underground mine under way and construction beginning on the access road to the planned open-cut Globe Progress mine.
The estimated five-year gold production cycle for Globe is expected to start in about a year.
Oceana is advertising for furnished and unfurnished houses in the district, and for residents interested in providing full board during the construction period.
