Avaaz, the worldwide, online platform for change, is running a petition to stop the US and EU putting high tariffs on Chinese made solar panels, which could stifle the global boom on clean energy investment.
Clean energy sources now produce nearly 20% of the world's electricity.
If 500,000 sign the petition, Avaaz will make a formal submission to the US International Trade Commission and EU trade Commissioner calling for talks - not tariffs.
