I DON'T believe anyone wakes up in the morning and consciously decides to make the wrong decisions.
I'm talking about generally well-rounded citizens, of course. There are, however, those who make a decision during the day that puts them in a jail cell by evening. There are mistakes yet to be made in the day, the week, the year.
Yet we are all disposed towards wanting to make the right decision and, as a consequence, a lot of what we decide to do will work out. And who is to say one decision is more "right" than another?
To my mind, when making the big choices, there are decisions, and everything else is the details.
If you decide to live somewhere, you find similar people who have also made that conscious decision, and then get on with it. You get busy living. This is something I especially like about living in Wairarapa, and Featherston in particular.
