Gisborne struck by small earthquake

A magnitude 4 earthquake has struck near Gisborne this morning, GNS Science reports.

The quake hit 20 km west of Tolaga Bay, at a depth of 20km at 10.14am.

GNS Science said the tremor would have likely been felt in the Gisborne region.
