Three competitions on three consecutive weekends out of town kept Gisborne Gymnastics Club members and their parents busy.
First up was the Hastings junior competition at which 12 Gisborne gymnasts competed.
Highlights included Amarah Cameron placing first overall in step 5 and India Forde first overall in step 2 overs.

Step 1 under — Indyannah Gallagher first on vault, second on uneven bars.
Step 2 overs — India Forde first on vault, second on uneven bars, second on beam, second on floor; Sage Alexander third on vault.
Step 1 overs — Iris Brockob first on vault; Ayla Jardin second on vault, second on beam; Ayla Turnwald first on uneven bars, first on beam, second on floor; Aurelia Ryan second on beam, first on floor.
Step 1 under — Vivienne Green first on Vault; Indyannah Gallagher second on beam.
Step 2 overs — Sage Alexander second on vault; Eleanor Snodgrass third on vault, third on uneven bars, second on beam.
Step 4 under — Terina Wilson second on vault.
Step 4 overs — Lea O’Reilly third on uneven bars.
Step 5 under — India Gill third on vault.
Capria Tamatea and India Gill travelled to Tauranga to compete at the Central championships at the Argos Gymnastics Club and faced strong competition.
Gill achieved a score that qualifies her for Hawke’s Bay/Poverty Bay selection for the national championships.
