A woman charged with murder following the "girls' day out" stabbing has appeared in court.
Anna Eiao Browne, 36, appeared in the High Court at Auckland this morning charged with murdering Carly Stewart, also 36.
She was given a three week trial date in August next year and was remanded in custody until her next appearance in February.
Stewart was stabbed during a "girls' day out" celebration two weeks in which a group of female friends were getting their nails and lashes beautified at the School Rd, Te Atatu house.
Police were called to the house on School Rd shortly after 4pm following reports a woman had been stabbed. She died soon after.
