Girl missing from CYF home

Police in Christchurch say they have serious concerns for the safety of a 12-year-old girl who has been missing for the last five days.

Tyler Nicole Osborne disappeared from a Child Youth and Family home last Friday, the day she was taken into care.

Constable Debbie Quested, of Papanui police, said there were "serious concerns for her welfare" due to her age and the length of time she has been missing.

Tyler was last seen wearing a long white puffer jacket, a light blue denim skirt and purple boots. She had a green Supre bag with her.

Police are appealing for anyone who knows where Tyler is to contact them.
