The seven-year-old girl mauled by four dogs in Murupara on March 3 remains in a serious but stable condition in Middlemore Hospital's intensive care unit.
A hospital spokeswoman said $155,000 had now been donated to a fund to support Sakurako Uehara's family, who are from Japan, during her recovery.
The little girl was mauled by four dogs while her family was visiting friends in the Bay of Plenty town.
Doctors said she received more than 100 bites all over her body during the attack, and was likely to face years of reconstructive surgery.
