A teenage girl is being examined in hospital after being found in a Papakura park this morning, partially asleep with only a t-shirt on.
Counties MaunkaupPolice spokeswoman Ana-Marie Gates-Bowey says the girl was found in a park on Wood St in the early hours of this morning. She says alcohol may have been a factor, but police are not ruling anything out.
The teenage girl is being assessed at Middlemore Hospital and police hope to fully interview her this afternoon.
A cordon has now been taken down after a scene examination.
