An 8-year-old girl has been found overnight despite fears for her safety after she disappeared for more than 14 hours.
Last night police appealed for the public's help after Trinity Semau went missing from her Mangere home after an argument with a family member yesterday morning.
She was wearing just a top and pyjama pants and no shoes when she was last seen by her worried family.
Counties Manukau Police Senior Sergeant John Roberts said serious concerns were held for her well-being after she had not been found after midnight.
But the search was called off early today after police said the little girl had been found safe at a relative's home.
