A 15-year-old Nelson girl sent text messages to her boyfriend asking for help as she was allegedly raped inside a car, Nelson District Court has been told.
Refugees Ah Chho Pa, 27, Lai Uk Tluang, 24, and Chan Uk Peng, 28, are facing charges of sexual violation and attempted sexual violation.
Pa and Peng are also charged with indecent assault.
The defendants, whose nationality was suppressed, pleaded not guilty to all charges yesterday, the Nelson Mail reports.
The complainant told the court she had been at a party at Pa's Nelson flat in November this year and had been drinking.
Her friends left and she was offered a ride home by one of Pa's friends.
She said she was indecently touched and then raped in the car.
She sent texts to her boyfriend, asking for help, she said.
When the men dropped her off at a relative's home she called the police.
The case continues in front of a jury of eight women and four men.
