There is a big road trip ahead for a giraffe travelling down the North Island today.
Auckland Zoo is driving Zuri, a one year old giraffe, down to join Wellington Zoo's mother and daughter giraffes, Tisa and Zahara.
It'll be a long trip for Zuri, with the drive set to take at least 12 hours.
Wellington Zoo's Libby Callander says it's a hugely difficult task.
She says both zoos' animal welfare teams have worked out the logistics to make the trip as smooth as possible.
