Giant TV for Aotea Square

A giant TV screen costing about $1.75 million is to be put up in Aotea Square.

Auckland City Council's Citizens and Ratepayers group has voted for a 60-70 sq m screen to be erected in the square in time for the Rugby World Cup in 2011.
