Intermediate students from Greytown Primary School celebrated the end of their technology programme at Kuranui College by preparing, cooking and serving food at a pop-up cafe.
Head of Kuranui Technology, Doug Juggins, said Greytown School Cafe was about putting skills into culinary practice.
The students had learnt hygiene, food preparation and service techniques during the term and the cafe allowed Year 7 and 8 students to put the skills they had learnt in class into practise.
They prepared all the food under the guidance of staff from the college and chef David Rose.
The cafe was set up in the technology block foyer and the students decorated the foyer and tables in a festive theme, with each table laid with fresh cut flowers.
