Santa Claus is ready and waiting for his annual batch of letters from New Zealand children. NZ Post said Christmas started early for Santa and his elves in the North Pole.
"Things start to really hot up by the end of November and the elves are rushed off their feet making presents for the children of the world, so the sooner kids get their letters written and sent the more time we have to make the present they really want, if they've been good kids, that is."
Letters must be written and sent before Friday December 14.
