KEY POINTS:
Police searching on the West Coast for items belonging to a Korean tourist missing since 2003 have recovered two German passports from the bush site.
Jae Hyeon Kim, 25, was reported missing in May 2004 after he failed to return to Korea after a year-long working holiday in New Zealand.
Police said inquiries revealed the holders had left on temporary travel documents in 2001.
They said it was likely the passports had been stolen and discarded.
