Another piece of geotextile material from the artificial surf reef at Mount Maunganui has been found today.
The Bay of Plenty Regional Council is assessing the options for its removal, and will reassess the reef at Mauao when sea conditions allow.
Geotextile material look similar to carpet and the regional council is urging anyone who has seen any of this material on the shore to call Pollution Hotline on 0800 884 883.
