He had hoped their results would be come back a little higher, but at least they had made their point.
"The main thing for me here is to really make the point that there's a whole generation of New Zealanders here who are making their wealth out of property due to a tax break and are screwing another generation of New Zealanders - and I don't like that," Morgan told 1News.
"And as a result is what we're seeing here is that that generation is going to stay.
"Until we change it, we've got a massive inter-generational problem here.
"We've have people who are falling behind and we have a young generation that could be the first that ends up worst than their parents.
"That's nothing I'm proud of, so I'm trying to change that...I actually think it's disgusting."
He promised that the party would continue, but was somewhat unsure about what role he would play in the future.
"Going forward, I'll have to think about what role I play in that. You know, I've got another life.''
