It will be a test of stamina for Marquis Dalefield when they play a double header in the Wellington premier division men's hockey competition this weekend.
They will confront Harbour City at the National Hockey Stadium in Wellington tomorrow and host Indians at Clareville on Sunday.
After strong showings in their opening two games against Hutt (lost 5-6) and Victoria University (lost 1-2) they must be given a good chance of breaking their "duck" on the points table.
A pleasing feature against both Hutt and University was the manner in which Dalefield regularly created prime scoring opportunities by turning over opposition ball through close marking and smart positional play. They will be keen to continue that trend this weekend.
