The annual Wairarapa College gala packed the school oval with people, amusement and bargains on Friday.
Assistant principal Jo Bisset said stalls and activities at the gala had been "run by every group class in the college" and the fine weather had allowed for an enjoyable night of entertainment.
"There was plenty for people to eat and do. The traditional cake stalls, prefects book stall and white elephant drew the crowds, along with plenty of hot food, raffles and activities that included throwing a gumboot and having a go in an inflatable boxing ring."
She said money raised would go back into the college with departments applying to the PTA for funds.
