A 40 year-old man facing murder and attempted murder charges has again been remanded after an appearance in Napier District Court today.
Wilson Neil Apatu is charged with murdering Layden Thomas Rameka, 32, and attempting to murder Mr Rameka's eight-year-old son, Zepplen-Solly Rameka at Waikoau, 25km northwest of Napier, in August.
He also faces a charge of aggravated robbery, involving the alleged theft at knifepoint of a ute.
Judge Tony Adeane today remanded him in custody to December 5.
