A Rotorua 15-year-old accused of murdering another teenager in August was further remanded in custody when he appeared in Rotorua Youth Court today.
The youth, who cannot be named because of his age, will return to court on December 7 when Judge Maree McKenzie will consider the suitability of a suggested caregiver if he is granted bail.
Judge McKenzie said she was not prepared to consider bail until she knew more about the caregiver nominated at a Family Group Conference.
Meanwhile the youth will to remain in Te Maioha o Parekarangi, Rotorua's recently opened youth justice facility.
The name of the alleged victim has been suppressed, as have details surrounding his death.
