A woman has been charged over a Queenstown bar fight involving a sportsman who already faces charges and who has name suppression.
The woman appeared today at the Auckland District Court, charged with assault.
She was remanded on bail to reappear in the Family Violence Court.
The woman cannot be named because doing so could identify the sportsman.
The sportsman appeared in court last month. He has been charged with resisting police, escaping custody, assaulting his partner and a police officer and is due back in court later this month.
