Hundreds of items of furniture salvaged from two quake-damaged retailers will be put up for auction in Christchurch this weekend.
Turners Auctions will put furniture, whiteware and electronics under the hammer at no reserve.
"Much of it has only minor scratches or packaging damage and is simply no longer suitable for a retail environment," general manager Alan Kurtovich said.
The two-day auction will start at noon on Saturday and 10am Sunday.
