Chris Clemett is going to the Disputes Tribunal over the loss of his cat from a city cattery.
He's been after answers since January 7, when he went to pick up his two cats from Beccijanes cattery in Bryndwr.
He arrived to find his cat, Molly, was missing, and the cattery's owner refusing to give him a refund.
Chris Clemett says the owner maintains it was an accident.
Meanwhile, the Christchurch City Council has confirmed the owner of Beccijanes has breached several conditions of resource consent.
