KEY POINTS:
A new, competitively priced, all-purpose LED lamp designed for boat trailer use has been released by Narva.
The Narva Model 36 uses just eight high-powered, light-emitting diodes.
This keeps down the cost of each unit and cuts current draw, taking less energy from the battery.
Yet light spread and performance remains effective.
Each LED is rated for 100,000 hours of operation, making the Model 36 more cost-effective than traditional trailer lamps using incandescent lights. The lamp is also ADR and E approved.
It comes with in-built retro reflectors and is among the first to feature an in-built LED licence plate lamp that fully meets the requirements of ADR.
Models with this licence plate lamp meet ADR for 48/00 (performance requirements) and also pass ADR 13/00 (installation requirements), allowing just one lamp to be positioned above the licence plate.
All models also meet all other ADR regulations, including 6/00 (rear indicator), 47/00 (reflector) and 49/00 (stop lamp).
All lamps are also fully sealed to IP66 and IP68 specifications to keep out moisture and dust and water.
The NARVA Model 36 is available with the standard 12-volt or 9-30 multi volt options.
Like all new generation LED trailer lights from NARVA, the Model 36 range is made from virtually unbreakable polycarbonate lenses and is covered by a five-year warranty.
