Fugitive hands himself in to police

The sole toothed Lindsey Rogers has surrendered to police following widespread media coverage that he was being sought.

Rogers phoned police from Hawkes Bay yesterday stating he had seen the stories in the news and would hand himself in.

Police say they found a methamphetamine lab and cannabis at the 32 year-old's Ngaruawahia home last month.

Rogers has been charged with four counts of burglary and will appear in Hamilton District Court today.
