Shell has introduced a new additive to its 95-octane petrol, which it says will banish "power-robbing" carbon deposits from car engines, new and old.
Shell V-Power is available at 230 stations around New Zealand at the standard price for 95-octane petrol, which has been selling at 205.9c a litre and accounts for just over 20 per cent of overall petrol consumption.
