Front runners Harcourts 1 and Celtic maintained their unbeaten records with big wins when matches in the Netball Wairarapa premier one inter-club competition continued on Saturday.
Defending champions Harcourts 1 were expected to meet stern opposition from Gladstone All Blacks but there was only one team in it at the end with Harcourts winning by whopping 54-13.
Celtic, on the other hand, were hot favourites against Harcourts 2 and they lived up to that billing with a 50-28 victory.
It was St Matthews Collegiate who provided the main talking point from Saturday's matches. They looked every inch championship contenders as they crushed Carterton Sports Arena 56-36.
Salute Greytown also caused a mild surprise with their 39-30 success over Wairarapa College A and Kuranui College kept in touch with the competition pacemakers by overwhelming Carterton Red 56-17.
