Fresh troops for Solomon Islands

A further 44 military staff, mainly from the Territorial Force, will head to the Solomon Islands tomorrow for a four-month tour of duty.

The contingent, drawn largely from the 7th Wellington/Hawkes Bay Battalion, will be the 10th rotation to support the Regional Assistance Mission to the Solomon Islands.
