Jim Logan has renewed hope this Christmas his brother is still alive and living in New Zealand.
Wellington lawyer and conservationist Robert Logan, 51, was reported missing on August 27, 2010. His white 1991 Nissan Sunny station wagon was found later that day at the Owhiro car park in the capital.
Family members tidying up his office came across a note he wrote before he disappeared which suggested he travelled to Auckland.
Logan's older brother Jim told the Herald on Sunday there was a potential recent sighting at St Heliers Library.
