KEY POINTS:
A former Manukau City Council staff member has been charged with fraud, the council said today.
The person has been charged with a representative count of obtaining a sum of more than $1000 by deception.
The charge covers 69 separate offences.
The council said tonight it could not comment further as the case was before the court.
