Fran Wilde re-elected chair of regional council

Councillor Fran Wilde has been unanimously re-lected as chairperson of the Greater Wellington Regional Council.

At its inaugural meeting yesterday, the council also elected councillor Peter Glensor as deputy chairperson. Both elections were unopposed.

Both Chair Wilde and Cr Glensor have been Regional Councillors since 2004.
