Attempts to recover the remaining three bodies of people killed in the Fox Glacier helicopter crash have resumed this morning.
Teams of police search and rescue staff, Aoraki-Mt Cook Alpine Cliff Rescue and Fox Glacier Alpine Cliff Rescue crews left in helicopters for the glacier at about 6am.
A police spokeswoman said the police Disaster Victim Identification Team spent the night at Chancellor Hutt on Fox Glacier.
Members of the Transport Accident Investigation Commission were also at the scene.
26 people involved in the recovery and investigation were at the glacier by 7am.
