Four people injured, SH1 closed after two-car crash south of Temuka

A serious two-car crash has closed State Highway 1 in Canterbury.

A serious two-car crash has closed State Highway 1 in Canterbury.

Police said reports suggest four people have been injured in the crash, which occurred around 1.05pm on the intersection of SH1 and Arowhenua Rd, south of Temuka.

Diversions are in place and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
