Four more quake victims named

Police have tonight released the names of three women and a man, four more victims of last month's deadly Christchurch earthquake.

They are:

* Mary Louise Anne Bantillo Amantillo, 23, of the Philippines

* Ian Foldesi, 64, of Christchurch

* Lin Lin Xu, 26, of China

* Naon Yu, 21, of South Korea

It brings the total number of names released to 146. Police expect the final death toll to be 182.

Mary Amantillo, Naon Yu and Lin Lin Xu were all English language students at King's Education in the CTV building.

Ms Amantillo, a nurse, sent a series of heart-breaking texts to her mother in the Philippines from the crumpled building after the quake hit.

Ms Yu's older brother Gil Hwan Yu also died in the CTV building.

Ms Xu was also known as Christina.

Ian Foldesi was a Lyttelton father-of-three who was killed as he walked in the Port Hills when the earthquake struck.
