The Prime Minister will honour four more people in the Order of New Zealand honours list in recognition of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
John Key said he was invited by the palace to increase the number of people honoured from 24 to 28 in recognition of the Diamond Jubilee.
The announcement came off the back of Mr Key saying he would visit Europe to take part in the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebration with his wife Bronagh.
He would spend three days in London and three days in Hamburg, Berlin and Brussels.
Mr Key also hoped to advance New Zealand's bilateral relationships with the European union, NATO and Germany.
