KEY POINTS:
Four men were pulled to safety after their jet boat sank in Lake Wairarapa, 8km south of Featherston this morning.
The four had been participating in an annual goose cull on the lake when their boat was swamped and sunk.
A member of the public contacted emergency services at 9.37am to report that the boat had sunk, a central police communications spokesman said.
The Westpac Trust Helicopter winched the uninjured men from the water and all were now safe.
