Four men have been arrested and charged today in relation to the death of James Whatuira, who was found dead at a Woodville property from a single gunshot wound on January 4.
A 41-year-old Nelson man has been charged with murder and will appear in the Christchurch District Court tomorrow.
Three Dannevirke men aged 29, 35, and 45 were charged with being party to a murder and will appear in the Palmerston North District Court tomorrow.
Police said Mr Whatuira's family have been advised of the arrests.
Police said the investigation was ongoing and wanted to speak to anyone that may have any information about the death of Mr Whatuira.
