Four men have been charged in relation to an attack at Paremoremo Prison last weekend.
North Shore police have jointly charged the men, aged 21, 22, 33 and 37 with two counts of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and one count of injuring with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The charges relate to an incident in the prison on Sunday, September 15, in which a prisoner was stabbed with home-made weapons.
The men will appear in North Shore District Court on Monday.
