Four people were hurt when a car collided with a logging truck at the entrance to the Hawke's Bay Airport this afternoon.
Police said the crash occurred at 1.15pm after a car pulling out of the airport entrance collided with a fully-laden truck travelling north along Main North Rd, Napier.
A four-year-old girl received serious injuries and a 30-year-old woman moderate injuries. Two other woman, one in her 30s and the other elderly, received minor injuries. All were taken to Hawke's Bay Regional Hospital.
The truck driver was uninjured but was badly shaken.
The woman driver of the car, who lives locally, had just picked up relatives at the airport and was heading home.
