Four people were injured in a crash on the east coast this morning.
The single-car crash happened on State Highway 35, near Tolaga Bay, just before 9am.
Ambulance, the Fire Service and a rescue helicopter attended the crash.
One person was flown to Gisborne Hospital via rescue helicopter, a police
spokesman said.
The NZTA reported the serious crash had closed the highway north of Gisborne, south of Tolaga Bay.
