Four people have been injured in a house fire in Wiri south of Auckland.
The Fire Service was called to the blaze at around 3.45pm.
Numerous calls were received from the public because of smoke and flames that could be seen from far afield.
Shift commander Jaron Phillips says a family is being treated for smoke inhalation.
He said four people were injured at the house, two adults and their two one-year-old twins.
Firefighters were also called to another house fire in Papakura at around 11.30am.
No one was injured in that blaze.
