Motorists heading south to Wellington will face delays after a crash involving four cars on the Johnsonville Porirua Motorway.
Police team leader Kirsty McDonald said the crash happened in the southbound lane just south of Tawa.
She said the vehicles have been cleared from the scene but there are significant delays.
