Four car collision closes lane on Russley Rd

Southbound traffic is down to one land on Russley Rd.

A four-car collision near Christchurch Airport has caused a lane of traffic on SH1 to close.

Emergency services were called to Russley Rd at 2.46pm after the collision between Bentley St and Ryans Rd.

It has reduced the southbound two lane of SH1 to one lane.

A police spokeswoman said there were no reports of injuries.

Police urge motorists to be patient while emergency services clear the blockage.
