Four children remain in hospital following last Monday's school bus accident in the Bay of Plenty.
Thirty-six people, nearly all school students, were injured after a logging truck crashed into the bus in rural Ruatoki, south of Whakatane, as it was pulling over to drop off pupils on the Monday afternoon.
An eight-year-old girl in Auckland's Starship Hospital has improved and is now in a stable condition, after being in a critical condition last week.
Two 12-year-old boys and a 10-year-old girl remain in Tauranga Hospital, and are all in a comfortable and stable condition.
A 16-year old-girl who was in Whakatane Hospital was discharged on Friday, and the 41-year-old driver of the bus was discharged from Tauranga Hospital on Thursday.
