A former national sports coach has pleaded not guilty to a charge of common assault.
But his identity - and the sport he was involved in - will be kept secret for now due to suppression orders.
The man appeared in the North Shore District Court before Judge Tony Fitzgerald this morning where the charge he faced was amended and a case review scheduled.
It is understood the charge came after an incident in early February.
The accused, who was represented by Simon Lance, was remanded at large to appear in June.
