Former radio DJ Iain Stables will stand trial next year on charges including threatening to kill and three assaults.
He stood quietly in the dock at Wellington District Court this afternoon as Judge Bruce Davidson further remanded him on bail.
A warrant for his arrest, issued two weeks ago when he failed to turn up to his last appearance, was withdrawn today.
Stables has elected trial by jury on a number of charges relating to a domestic dispute following his eviction from a Wellington flat earlier this year. The trial will take place in August.
The controversial radio host, who has spoken publicly about his bipolar disorder, is also accused of using offensive language, misuse of a telephone, several counts of wilful damage and one of intentional damage.
