A former Cook Islands prime minister was removed from an Air New Zealand flight for saying he was a terrorist when boarding the plane.
Sir Geoffrey Henry was aboard a flight from Auckland to Noumea in New Caledonia when made the comment to one of the crew members, the Cook Island News reported today.
The pilot decided the comments were inappropriate and Sir Geoffrey was then removed from the plane and told to take a later flight.
Air New Zealand confirmed a passenger was removed from a flight but refused to name the culprit.
