The form book should be a good guide as to the results of premier one interclub netball matches to be played in Wairarapa tonight or tomorrow.
Defending champions Wairarapa College were on the end of a decent beating by St Matthew's Collegiate last weekend but they should bounce back with a comfortable victory over the third college side in the premier league, Kuranui.
That match will be played at the Genesis Recreation Centre in Masterton tonight at 6pm while at 7.30pm at the same venue Gladstone All Blacks should continue their impressive start to the season with a win over Salute Greytown.
Two premier one games will be played at the Colombo road courts tomorrow, both of them getting underway at 12 noon.
St Matthew's Collegiate will have taken plenty of confidence from their big win over Wairarapa College and will have too many guns for Hiona and while Carterton Red have a good measure of experience it's difficult to imagine them keeping unbeaten Harcourts in check.
YEAR EIGHT
Wairarapa year eight netball coach Linda Douglas has named her squad for the 2006 representative season.
The 12 players were chosen after three trials described as "very competitive" with important roles being played by Marama Maxwell, Desiree Adam and Tai Nootai who not only carried out the umpiring duties but also assisted with warming up and ball skills.
The squad is Shannon Sim (St Matthews), Tiana Mason (Masterton Intermediate), Raewyn Cavubati (Masterton Intermediate), Sam Gordon (Masterton Intermediate), Hannah Reiri (Masterton Intermediate), Lauren Crimp (Greytown), Aleighsha Beattie (Wainuioru), Paige Parkes (Chanel), Arapera Manaena (Chanel), Shinnae Flutey (Lakeview), Olivia Pehi (Lakeview), Jahlisa Namana (St Marys).
Both the year seven and eight rep teams will train at the Genesis Recreation Centre on Tuesdays from 5pm to 6.30pm.
